IT in education has been recognised as the key to strengthening and facilitating learning and teaching in the 21st century. Our school policy goes hand in hand with the ‘Three IT in Education Strategies’ launched by the EDB in 1998. Great advancements in various aspects including the IT infrastructure, learning resources, teachers’ professional capacity and students’ learning have all been made. In particular there has been a great shift from a teacher-centered mode of teaching to a student-centered mode of learning that has both raised our students’ digital literacy and their capability for independent learning.
