English Debating & Mock Trial
Inter-School Mock Trial is a positive academic activity that is designed to increase students’ understanding of the legal process. Through their participation in the Inter-School Mock Trial competitions both locally and abroad, Paulinians have had the opportunity to engage in intensive debating and role-playing activities. This has enabled them to; enhance their speaking, writing, reading and listening skills; hone their critical thinking and analytical skills; rebut and improvise spontaneously; set goals and implement them astutely; learn the importance of strategic planning; face challenges with enthusiasm and determination; develop transferable skills such as team work and collaboration; and learn about the judicial systems in Hong Kong and the United States.
